Zeph gets rather vocal when we are out with friends/family and he isn't up ahead, he likes to keep everyone together and may start shouting if he can't. He barks quite alot at the door etc, my rott will bark once or twice if he can be bothered! Whining isn't a problem though, my mum's BT's whining is bad, will drive you insane, you just can't stop it! My friends shep is very whiney, but he hasn't been taught any boundaries and rules the roost!

I really never got to the bottom of it.
She was never what you'd call an out going pup..happy with the family, but would hide from visitors.
Our other Dog was outgoing & confident, but she was so shy.
Then she broke a back leg at 6 Months (jumped up to catch a butterfly ) she was so traumatised at being left at the lefts to have it plastered, it really set her back.

Today we had the "Shepherd Sulk"
Chad was laying on his bed, moaning & groaning...then he sat & stared at me.
Didn't want to go in the garden, didn't want a toy etc.
They'd all been out for a quick walk (we were out for 5 hours last night)
I went to post a letter & he perked up...so I took him with me. Think he wanted some 1-1 time as he was wagging his tail all the way there. So I took him to the park on the way back.
