I don't know sorry. One of his sisters is Jess (owned by Kylie). His sire is Pawnee Brodie and his dam is Alaskan Sophie.

Have no knowledge of the genetic makeup of NI etc was just stating that GSDs are not white and most have a double coat. As far as I am aware no work has been done on the NI, UTE etc, so there are no papers written as far as I know on the connections between coat colour and health in these types of crosses.

That is true but not with yellow or pale blue eyes, it is true there may be a few but in the wild blue or pale eyes is very uncommon. Brown, Hazel or dark amber are the norm.

Mind you very few wolves are white all year round although I believe there are one or two groups who are.

Spike is lovely but he doesnt look like any NI I have seen, he looks bit GSD bit husky but would never think "o theres a NI"
To me the breed standard seems to change lots.

Is it 'coz 'e is white?

If you stood him next to a GSD or husky, you would see he looks nothing like them. If you don't think he looks like an NI, then all I can say is it's a good job you're not breeding NIs.

HUmmmm if he stood next to a NI then he wouldnt look like them either.
It seems to me from my brief knowledge of this troubled breed that no one can apparently get on and its very much "right I will start my own breed if cant play with yours" hence British Inuits, utes and whats next ??

Gem you yourself posted a thread on NIS as you were concerned that Sholoh didnt look like a proper NI I read it myself. Are you that incapable of having a unbiased debate.

I am not so stupid and childish to create a breed I feel there are enough in this world to cover all areas and wants.
And I also feel that NI will be coming into rescue more and more I notice Tikaani is closing her breeding kennels and getting rid of all hers notice the ages are 5 yrs and under also.

I think that post was as a result of some rather hash comments you yourself made. We all love our dogs and like sharing pics of them with other dog lovers. It was never posted in the critic my dog section so negative comments about looks were uncalled for. Also can i remind you not to refer to other forums or this thread will be locked and i won't get to see the lovely white NI's.

If you really feel so strongly about NI then why do you own one?
Why did you look into using him as a stud?
Why are you a member of a group?

If you don't like NI's then stay the H*** away from people who do.

These posts are off-topic and antagonistic. Please keep your general NI grievances in the appropriate threads. This is about white NIs and not your own personal gripe with the NIS.
