    Ooops forgotten to add as from 6th April 2015 all puppies have to be chipped from 6 weeks for medium/large/giant breeeds & 12 weeks for toy/small breeds.
    Also all puppies must be minimum of 11 weeks old before being sold as from 1st April 2015.

    Tina compulsory MC is from 6 April 2016
    Not heard anything about puppies in UK having to be minimum of 11 weeks before being sold.

    @Azz its very true specially the bit where I want dog just like Daisy, we get no end of 7-9 month old puppies in at The Rescue Home, that their owners don't want because they are not like their "mum/dad" temperament wise, all 6 of my JRT's have different temperaments even though they are all related (mum dad & their 4 hooligans) as for I want the children to see birth, WHY would a normal sane parent want their children to watch that, as its messy smelly bloody gore, plus not all pups survive out of 100 puppies 30% of pups are still born 15% die within first 72hours, so WHY would any parent want their children to witness that.

    Oh don't know then but am sure the Vets page on Facebook is saying this year 6th April 2015 ? for MC & 11 week minimum to be sold

    Yes your right Vee just had another look on vets Facebook page, saw the 6th April 2015 & MC didn't read it correctly that date is for CATS so this year all cats haveto be MC by 6th April 2015 & next year all dogs by 6th April 2016. :-D x
