    haha haha haha

Sorry I have no clue what any of this means but always enjoy reading inuit threads - so much controversy and I can enjoy as I have no opinion!

Because some of their original dogs are NIDs but they renamed them BIDs and then they crossed them. That is how. It is like people who have a Chimayo Inuit and claim it is a NID.

well its simple really, andre started her own club using northern inuits, some she carried on breeding to other northern inuits, others she crossed with other breeds.

Because some have not have anything added and are NI - others have been mixed and their offspring and are not.

I see we change the rules and names to fit whats currently happening.

As I said have seen one dog that was a NI and now a BI not relatives or siblings but same dog. It was on a thread on here and some NIS member said thats not a BI its a NI and other said so.

Am bored of my Lab being black and always fancied an Akita so as of tomorrow Paddy will be an Akita.

Just goes to show, you do your research and you learn alot:grin: When you say ' I see we change the rules and names to fit whats currently happening.' I am not sure who you mean.

The dog you are refering to is SKYE, I remember the post and yes he is a NID:grin:

But is it true you didnt know what breed the original dogs were that founded and started the breed so you made the name up Northern Inuit.
So from the very beginning the name changing has occured?

There is going to come a day when people wont have a clue what dog they are buying. So many things wrong between the splits and the pedigrees.

As opposed to the breeds that fall from the sky with pre made breed name tags? Every breed name was made up at some point?

So the 2 original dogs that founded the breed were Northern Inuits?

Julie how on earth can anyone trust the NIS when you cannot give a straight answer to a very simple question. Its yes or no, why is it a secret?

I know where you are coming from but I can say with great confidence that with the NIS you get a legitimate NID so with the correct research people do know that they are getting a NID and can be confident about that.
