Someone tried to explain that, after admitting that the picture had been posted as a joke, but apparently could not find a picture of one that had been opened to prove it. So it was "no picture, no proof"!
Have just Googled, 'cow hairball', (actually it was Bing but prob the same on Google). there There is an explanatory paragraph with a picture of one whole and one sawn in half. I couldn't remember the proper name but it is there - a bezoar.
This is getting funnier - well it is to me but then I have a peculiar sense of humour. Somebody Googled "cow egg" and posted a picture of a milk bottle, saying that in England that is what people call the bottles that milk comes in. It is a section of a site where I am a member but I do not post on that particular section - I just read it occasionally for a bit of light relief.
Too funny. The one on the right has "funny nostrils" like Tornado-dog. His nose is all black, but the inside of his nostrils are pink. Whenever he starts barking at me to do something, I tell him "you've got funny looking nostrils" - he will just stop like it's thrown him for a loop...
Thanks for that picture Marc - it is just what I need for a certain discussion forum [so I have duly nicked it!]
