    I have just "borrowed" a passing Filipinit carer to help me put a cover on my duvet as I have given in and decided it is duvet weather.

    The duvet had been sitting on my bedroom floor in its plastic winter cover for a couple of weeks now after having been rescued from the cupboard space under my mattress, and I took it out of the plastic cover earlier so needed to snag someone going past as I cannot do it myself. Usually my neighbour helps but she is away as usual and will not be home until tomorrow.

    I was not cold in bed last night but the forecast is not looking good with temperatures due to drop tonight, and I only had two thin summer blankets on the bed so reckoned it was time for the duvet.

    Keeping everything crossed that it is not bucketing down tomorrow so I can get Pereg to the vet - forecast for the week looks rather grim.

    Yes - frosty, foggy and freezing cold here too. Poor Chico had the embarrassment of having to wear a coat on his walk.

    IT'S SNOWING AGAIN! Gwylim's snuggled up on the sofa (sensible boy), but that silly Peigirl of mine refuses to come in and is sitting on the porch watching the snowflakes fall!

    Light snow cover and slight nip in the air but not as bad as last week. One night the real feel temp was around 7:eek:

    The Princess was very put out and after inspecting the palace grounds went back to bed declaring her whole day was ruined!

    I think your village looks so pretty in the snow. I sympathise with the Royal Family though - time to break out the ermine robes I think.

    Thankfully it has been nice and sunny which meant I could dry the duvet and the bed toppers that got pee'd/poo'd/anal glands expressed on - and they got un-stunked..

    I hasten to add that the duvet cover and the sheets all went in the washing machine and then dryer and clean ones now on.

    And I have now ordered a cheese and cheese and cheese ravioli with cheese sauce and more cheese on top wot dey put under de grill from a place in town as I have not eaten all day due to da booga and mess, so any minute it should be delivered and I am going to scoff the lot.

    And to heck wiv de indigestion.
