From the look of it this morning it has rained quite heavily during the night. Dry now and we did have a bit of sun earlier - for all of five minutes, but it is really cold and this constant change of weather has given me a streaming cold, which means streaming eyes and a streaming nose.. All I want to do is go to bed and stay there but of course I cannot because of Tikki.
It's like a spring day here with a bright blue sky and warm enough to go out without wearing an anorak. Yesterday on our way to town, noticed the trees are beginning to thicken and have a greenish haze about them. Will have to watch my driving and keep my eyes on the road instead of checking on how long it's going to be before I see the first leaves! This morning we had a lovely walk around the top half of my land. Georgina went off to explore the empty plot next door but when she decided to return to us forgot there was a fence separating us and ran into it ... silly girl! Gwylim who's still a bit unpredictable off lead is slowly getting better and once Georgina had gone through the gate into the enclosed part, I let him off his lead and he just followed her! Can't be bad, just hoping it continues.
Similar to Janet. Very cold blustery rain. No sun. My wet gritty dogs, really enjoyed their rough towelling down, funny Merry was groaning with pleasure. They are now busy soaking up artificial sun in front of a halogen fire.
Cold and wet here too. Young Farmers weekend so my guess is that there are going to be plenty of hacked off farmers around this weekend
Cloudless blue sky - very sunny and warm outside [the boys in teeshirts and shorts] , but cold indoors.
Bright, one or two passing rainclouds, but it hasn't rained yet. Dry, happy hounds, lying in the shafts of sunlight - life is sweet.
Really windy again last night, managed to blow over and smash two large flower pots on my 1st floor terrace. I had to clear up the mess this morn, I was not amused.....
I never trust the weather in the winter. In the summer I just say rood words as it is hot, hot, hot for months on end.
Windy windy VERY windy, with some sun, had a struggle to put washing out, no sooner had I finished when the heavens opened.
We have had so much rain lately, I reckon ill be growing web feet soon. The song ‘Raindrops are falling on my head’ comes to mind. Weather Today
This morning I had to tip up all the bird tables to empty the water out after yesterday's torrential rain - and when I emptied them I found ice in them! Dazzling sunshine this morning but still cold.
It's been a lovely morning here, but the dark clouds are now gathering so my guess is that we're in for rain this afternoon
