Utonagans and Northern Inuits ????? Purpose ! Discussions

I agree - it is sad - and we all love these dogs. I am on all the forums and have access to inside knowledge as I know Sandra and the work she has been doing.

the thing is this thread wasn't about the NIS (and no i'm not a member), it was about the Utonagans and northern inuit dog.

Not everyone who owns or wants an inuit or a utonagan wants to belong to a society anyway,some just want a dog without people questioning them all the time.

sorry but i feel your post was a "political" statement and should of been started on a different thread.

Sorry, you are probably right - but I'm not used to posting on here - if the administrators want to move this to a new thread that is fine by me - I just saw the most recent NI thread and added to it - my sincerely apologies if I haven't done it right.

i wouldnt dream of wanting you to explain youself to me.... thats not why i posted, i felt that the post i commented on was commenting more on people that dogs and i thought it was supposed to be about the purpose of the dogs, didnt think that could offend you.

Mmmm I agree. I think there are some grave problems there too, but my questions had nothing to do with that, as I wasn't even aware of these problems at the time.

I think sometimes people don't read the first bit, just the last bit ....lol

Well sadly its the human involvement that is threatening this breed - and its important that people interested know all there is to know and not just the sales pitch. The societies are the front for this breed and people should know about the people in those societies.

What do you mean by the people in the societys threatening the breed?

I got the impression that the NIS were doing thier bit 2 protect the breed.

i really dont think so, and btw there was no-one above sandra, it was the flamin julie and sandra club at one time so dont be getting on your high horse.
this society shouldnt be about anyone person, not people at all in fact but the dogs, ego's get bruised and people fall out all the time, and you can do all the bitching you want, wont change a damn thing.

I wasnt bitching and I didnt think Sandra headed the society - but maybe I got that bit wrong. Anyway I just wanted people to see that the NIS weren't being very consistent in their statments. I don't want to be drawn into an argument about it.

well it would seem that you are in the dark about a few things and i for one think that ian will be a great chairperson .he is a very level headed person and wont take any crap from anyone .
I think the N.I society will go from strength to strength now.

This is all very challenging and as I said it would be very bitter sweet for us to 'have a retaliation' but as it has been said before we dont need to.
We as a breed of dog are fine, healthy and happy. Charlie you can say all you wish we will be fine without any help. But we thankyou for your offer!

This thread has gone "way off topic" started by Milady asking a few questions . They were answered to the best of peoples ability .
As a member of the NIS Society , I wouldnt be there if I thought things were needing " Sorted out" so to speak.
We are all doing fine as are our Northern Inuit Dogs.
Now ..will you all stop this silly bitch***g . We have better things to do
