The roman rottweilers???? Questions

    Have to say tho ...the one red rottie the breeder kept back Ryeanna I think the pups name was,
    I think she looks like shes got dobe in her, even her muzzle seems longer dobeish..what do you guys think?

    Still a cracking looking pup tho...but just not the sort of rottie Im used to seeing around>?????

    I would say its a high possibilty.. there has been much debate about how pure red rotties are... the ones I have seen on the net.. do look leaner..longer and more dobe than a rottie pup. ;-) I have heard you can very rarely get a blue dobe... so if a blue rottie were ever to turn up./.. I would have to think..twice about that also

    they state that they arent rotti minis........why do they say they are though? whats the point of them?? :roll:

    the red is a nice colour though....... :mrgreen: were they actually 'pedigree' rottis or have had something added in the past?

    i would have said dob x rotti
    its lovely anyway! nic colour like a choci dob really!

    I did once see a long haired rottie - looked a bit like a berner sennen, but with shorter and more curly hair and the body and attitude was of a rottweiler. This was almost 30 yrs ago and I have never heard of or come across one ever after.

    And I know for sure this dog was of geniune rottweiler breeding.

    I have never met one in the flesh.. but have seen some photos on the net...yes they are full rottie...but as you say they are few and far between in the UK now,... most of the photos I have seen have been dogs in america..
