My brother in law owns 4 working springers and they also do both depending on what he is doing (they take it in turns to shoot and beat) They always seem happiest when its shooting season. Though Daisy is due in a few weeks so she has other things on her mind!! Do you want a liver or black and white?
Good luck with getting your Springer, nice that it's going to be working. We pick up with ours (and always have), and they are just as happy doing that as they are in the line. Where abouts in Surrey are you?
Labradork - All duly noted my friend, I know it will be hard work but I'm prepared to persevere with the breed. ;-) Theres something about owning a dog that gets into mischief / gets mucky and loves water quite alluring and I'm looking forward to it.
you could start looking now i reserved my pup from 4 weeks and some breeders will allow you 2 pick up later on so they will b that little bit older ATD
To be honest, for a quality pup, you may be looking at a few months wait minimum anyway. Most good breeders have waiting lists. I had an almost 6 month wait for one of mine.
