I am afrraid using abusive defamatory language about someone is not only against the forum rules but it also undermines your credibility as a trustworthy source of information.

    Shame on you.

I honestly couldn't care less. What she did for dogs is unforgivable. The number of people buying from BYB because of her. They all think show dogs are useless cripples.

    Yes and no
It is horrible that designer crossbreeders have been able to jump on the bandwagon and con people into thinking their crossbreeds are automatically healthier than pedigrees
    That of course is wrong
and it didnt mention all the good some breeders are doing

But I think it has also pushed forward some breeds to improve even quicker

Although it was very biased and very bad journalism some of the dogs seen WERE bad - and there was deff some very wobbly hocks in some of the GSD's and there is no denying that over the decades the GSD's backside is getting closer and closer to the floor - for whatever reason - whether you think it is right or wrong - it is still changing

There are ways to "push forward change" without being downright misleading! Unfortunately her apology for the misleading nature of the some of the "facts" wasn't as well publicised.
And a lot of the changes were already in the pipeline before PDE.

I'm not going to get started on GSD toplines and loose hocks - I'm sure my opinion on that is on the forum already!

My point was the fact that she could watch that back and think it's a GOOD programme and is going to make positive changes for dogs - oh wait, she doesn't care. She just wanted ratings.
Yes it got some changes made a bit quicker, but ultimately it has put people off good reputable breeders because they have taken her word as gospel - the message she portrayed - all show breeders are bad people who breed defects in and cull dogs without it.

I'm not saying there isn't some truth in her show, there are some breeds that need a bit of change. But the message from that show has done so much more damage to dogs overall :(

Only if you take people's opinions on board more than facts.

I would rather take on board a reasoned argument over abuse any day.

Just an observation shrap, but you seem to have rattled a few cages across different forums with your rather indelicate way with words. not that you care, im sure.

    no time for keyboard warriors.
