Exactly, which is the point I was making. He most likely couldn't care less what people think of him, he cares about his wolves, end of. Only my personal opinion, but I liked the bloke and I like what he is doing.

What know that the one he had from JK was got rid of without her or the NIS rescue's knowledge? Yes I do know it to be true. Or do you mean the two dogs he got from CR? Well, they are on the rehoming page along with their mother, who recently CR said was going to live with them when SE had them back, seems pretty clear to me at least that they are needing a new home. They are also advertised on freeads!

Are you serious? What would meeting him do for me? Certainly wouldnt make me agree with his theories, actions or ability to keep his PETS!

See first reply, if the "Horse" is CR, then I guess the answer again is yes! Its on his site, I reckon he put the ad there dont you? This one I mean:

Id give anyone the benefit of the doubt one time, but when it happens again and in such a short space of time, Id say there is something not right, or at least that should of required a LOT of thought before ploughing in and stufffing up a couple more dogs lives because of "circumstances"

I still don't know the facts behind the rehoming Dawn, and neither do you. And frankly, it isn't any of my business. With the collapse of the Landkey project because Shaun was unable to get the owners of the land to exchange contracts, obviously that meant that changes were going to have to be made. If he is not allowed to keep the dogs at Combe Martin (I have no idea whether or not this is true, and neither do you), then I am not sure what else he could have done but return the dogs to Charlie.

I would love to adopt one of them, but old meanie-pants has said No. Mind you, he's quite right, left to my own devices, I would have a whole pack of rescued waifs and strays instead of going out to work !

If I were looking at becoming a land owner and wanted .....lets say horses, .....I would make sure I owned the land first, then I would buy the horses. Makes sense.

It is called common sense and being a responsible adult.

Indeed - especially as CR seems to have dogs avalible a lot, its not like it was a once in a life time chance. Not fair to do that to dogs IMHO.

I agree, but I think you are all being harsh. You don't know the background, the in's and out's, and why the deal fell through etc. etc. Neither do I, which is why I am not standing as Judge and Jury.

    Cross posted for your convenience.

"Yeah, they are Shaun's dogs - all down to the Landkey deal falling through and a recent 'no dogs' policy at Combe Martin. We are all very sad about it but are in no particular hurry to re-home them so I am sure they will go somewhere special.

They really are fantastic dogs in every respect, health, temperament, nature, looks, etc. I would love to keep them here but I need to reduce my numbers as it is."

My own personal opinion is that SE is there to help with puppy sales and a falling website rating. It makes good business sence when SE has a credible rating amongst the public but not so much when he does not, like now.
