May I ask why you have this, surely this should have been given back to TDIA when you left? :?

I wouldnt have thought so, just to emphasize the point that It Is a British Inuit not a Northern Inuit, you cant have one breed and register it as another, future puppy owners are entitled to know exactly what they are getting, dont you agree?

What a ridiculous thing to say. It was at one time on the TIDA website. Anybody could have taken a copy of it.

All I was pointing out was that it does state that he is a British Inuit as you obviously know. This was not meant to start an argument at all just pointing out a fact.

Absolutely right, so what dogs exactly were used to make up the NI? I believe all that info was/is in the head of the founder breeders. It's about time the true origins of the breed were out in the open for the sake of future puppy owners, as you said.

Mags you have 'your truth' and others have theirs which is very different to yours.

What you call 'raking up dirt' is an attempt by other people to get to the truth about the health/origins/breeders of Northern Inuits. Some of those looking for answers are people who have bought NI puppies which have developed serious health problems, these people have tried to get answers elsewhere but have had the brush off from NIS members to put it mildly.

Questions about Northern Inuits/their health/origins and are frequently raised on this form and varying answers are given ( many questions are avoided altogether or the subject taken off topic to avoid having to answer).

There are accusations made on all sides by the various factions in this thread, who we should believe is anyones guess but at least all sides get to have a say here so at least we can read the threads and draw our own conclusions as I trust Lucy will when deciding on her choice of breed.

Is this mud slinging really necessary? All it does is discredit your beautiful dogs and make future owners think twice about becoming involved, which would be a real shame:neutral:

    Minniehaha,
There are plenty of threads about NI.s Bi's Utes Tamaskan Dogs, Illamars etc on here as you well know,
As this thread is deviating away from the Original posters question, I really dont see any point in it
The NI has tried to answer questions on various threads but none have been pleasant. or Locked
I dont see any further point in this thread . I am not going to post on this thread anymore . As suggested the Original poster asks her questions on the NI Society ..where there is no backbiting and most can give a clearer picture of the Ni as most of us own them

Why can't they give the same clear answers on here then? Or is it that there are many of us who will question what is said whereas on the forums whatever is said will be taken as gospel?

My dog's Dam and Sire were registered with the NIS, just because he was registered with a dif group as a pup, because his breeder fell out with JK and left the NIS, doesn't make him a dif breed from his parents. His Dam was bred by JK and his Sire came from dogs bred by JK, you know this.

So if you don't know all the facts, maybe it is wiser to stick to the details you do know as fact.
It would be like me saying julies "h" isn't a pedigree leo, although i don't know all the dogs in his pedigree, why should i think of him as anything but a leo, i know he is cause he has some of the same relatives as mine.
There is alot of negative comment around the NI as a breed from all sides involved, without rumors relating to any 1 persons dogs going round.
I still can't understand why as NI Owners you can't stop the bickering and put your dogs 1st, if you care about the breed as much as you seem to, do some thing postive for them.

But if you have his BVA certificate, you can see who his parents are, his ped is on my website for everyone to see, and surely before you make comments weather a dog is this or that you should've looked at the dogs ped first.

Leo I do not have his paperwork I have a copy of it. I was emailed this to put up onto the TIDA website at the time. This was there for a while on the website for anybody to see or take a copy off. Hope that answers your question.
