Come on Sutty, its a valid point, and its pretty self incriminating, I mean, if it was lies and that wasnt JK saying those things, why on this earth would she possibly allow it to stand and has never done anything about it? With particular reference to this breed, the NI, you'd think she would make absolutely sure she was cleared of any wrong doing, if only to protect the breed. Interestingly NO mention of the NI was made in the film, nor any new breeds, only Wolf hybrids, one of them she claimed sitting at her side, the dog everyone knows as "Kyle" a founder stud dog for the NI.

I didnt bring this up this time, but you cant help people thinking about it when it does. I am inclined to think that the NIS is trying to do the right thing now, but ghosts in the cupboard will always haunt uless proved without doubt they were false.

You dont have to drive but you do have to be the registered owner of the vehicle.

I know someone who's 2yr old son got a speeding ticket, because he had the same name as someone else, mistakes can be made.

Hi Sutty, the case date on that one was referring to the late 1980`s, and if Julie was`nt aware of that particular site [ which is`nt the RSPCA so presumably is`nt part of the ongoing case ], at least she is now aware of it/them and can deal with them over it

edited to add, I`ve never discussed it on any threads before, I did`nt rake it up :? I just responded to another poster then found and produced the article for Julie, she may not have seen it as its not exactly a `mainstream` site, so at least she is now aware of it and can take whatever action is necessary

The thing is, we werent aware of this statement un til the reptile thing came up, so the courtcase is to get a detraction of the statement and a public apology, because it is definitly not true, I lived in the same town as Julie, a very small town, do you really think that if she was banned from keeping dogs and had them, that the rspca wouldnt know. years ago, the local rspca inspector was a good friend of mine, he left after 20 years service because he couldnt, in good faith, stay with a so called caring society, when, in his own words 'they dont give a s**t'.
julie has never denied there was a courtcase, what she is categorrically denying is the 5 year ban.

Yes I was also misinformed by the same breeder who is with another organisation . She took nearly £1000 for 2 breeding bitches from me and it has taken two years to get part of my money back .minus the dogs That is wht I have won a CCJ order on her. .
Needless to say I bought elsewhere as I heard that she didnt hip score her dogs.
I am a member of the NI Society and have had one of my bitches BVA hip scored sucessfully . I had no problems with the BVA saying that they were Northern Inuits My other will be soon BVA hip scored
Its no wonder that I dont come on here very often now. All or most of the NI threads are locked because of fractions from another Inuit group or just plain bickering from those who do not own a Northern Inuit.
I have 3 NI.s and they are a great breed also a GSD cross Husky whom I have had X rayed because of the probs with GSD's. Not BVA scored as she is a crossbreed Luckily I had nothing to fear and this was done for my own peice of mind

Well isnt it strange that your chaiperson hasnt had any of her dogs hip scored? Not a good example is it?

I do believe that your story is about the same breeder that we also pre paid for a puppy from Scottish Mags. I am very pleased to hear that you did get at least part of your money back and I also feel extremely lucky that we did get our puppy from this person. It is people like this that cause the breed such harm and yes they are a fabulous breed despite people like this

Yes Abbie, It was thae same breeder She could really talk you into anything saying that she needed the money for her disabled sones Birthday. How sad is that ?
Yes I did get most of the money back but due to her having NO money , the court awarded her to pay at a little per month. If she defaults she will have everything possesed . This is the same lady that had 3 0r 4 litters in a row .

OK, I'm going to ignore the actual sentence you are disputing but were you or were you not convicted for cruelty to dogs?
This you haven't disputed, you have just, very carefully I might add, stated that you weren't banned, not that you weren't convicted. That is a very big point!

Incidentley when we visited crufts before we got our first NID, we met some gorgeous Malmautes and met some lovely owners. I did ask ref the off lead thing because our friends didn't believe it and also I did wonder if websites etc were over emphasising on this. Everyone we spoke to said they would not let their Mals off lead unless they were in a secure area. Some people are happy not to let their dogs off lead, some people are in a postition of having land etc where they can let their dogs run free on. I unfortunately am not so that would be reason enough alone for me not to get a Malamute.

No, I wasn’t seriously thinking about breeding then I had vaguely thought about it but it wasn’t until later I really began to think about breeding.

You can both try to discredit me and my dog’s as much as you like, it only show you both up for what you really are ;-)

and why the remark about 'British Inuit', is that to start another argument about British Inuits
