This is my "pup" , 2 1/2 years old, a scruffy gorgeous little thing. We have a few guesses as to what she "is" ;-) She is a rescue from Broome (far north Western Australia)... The fur on her legs is rather curly (not so obvious in this pic, this pic is probably a year old.....) Her coat itself is coarse and terrier like. She is only about 30cm tall, if that but has a long body. Being from "up North" we think she might have a bit of working breed in her, she behaves that way at times, likes to jump on top of or over other dogs when she plays and crouches down low sometimes too. Could be tiny bit of Kelpie (probably the most common dog breed over here ;-) ) and definitely a lot of terrier
Ah, thank you. She just has the loveliest nature too . He was killed in October, about 2 weeks after the pic was taken, at the age of just 16 weeks by another dog . So far the other owners have got away with it Your little Mya looks adorable too, I just ove little scruffy dogs
Oh no, that is just awful That would have to be the most horrific thing for any dog owner I can not believe the owners got away with it So sorry for you :-(
Minnow is such a cutie and so is Ralph, im so sorry for your loss that must've been such a horrible thing for you to go through and them getting away with it is awful. The pictures of them are beautiful
Thanks Tori, we love Myah's face too, she is so scruffy, I always grab her around her ears and face and kiss her on the nose Elaine, I looooove Borders, they are so adorable (not very popular over here though, you see them occasionally and people are generally surprised when I recognise the breed ;-) )
Thank you. It was/is, I don't think I'll ever get over it fully.:-( When I got my new pup and he got walloped by the cats the noise he made induced flashbacks of the day. Today in the vets I saw a dog of the same breed that killed Ralph and I started sweating and having palpitations.
Thank you. It hasn't helped :-( . I'm still on at the local council to do something, not holding my breath though :-(
