Another terrorist on the go, bred and given too me very kindly by a farrier friend of the family, "Dulcie" PJRT, not quite show standard as bred for generations purely from what works to what works, and that's exactly why she's perflick! Spending most of her time upside down, she is a very sensible little thing not at all scatty or argumentative yet with bags of confidence, and when she's not upside down she's decimating the local vermin population or down a hole somewhere!
Her ears are folding back over at the minute after going up wonky when teething, shame really I quite liked the sticky up ears as they reminded me of my old rescue JRT Polly. She's VERY VERY rough coated and is the ultimate scruffy dog, she's just been handstripped so looks a lot tidier and more of a wee workman now!

She really is NO trouble at all, takes everything in her stride. She's got the perfect terrier temperament for me, bags of confidence, bags of drive for work, but quite laid back and not at all argumentative or gobby. The old addage about not starting a fight but being happy to finish one. She's ace!

And not forgetting my dear Florrie who in approaching the autumn of her years answers more respectively to "Flo" and to close firneds is known as "The Weasel" since puppyhood due to her ability to wriggle out of anywhere and through the smallest space EVER.
Seven in January, seems like a blink of an eye ago she was a tiny puppy waddling around the garden with those diddy legs!

Sire was a westie, dam was a dandie dinmont. Bred by a lady who had quite a bit of money, quite a bit of land, and quite a lot of time and has some romanticised notion of doing a captain lucas (rhink he was a captain! ) And creating her own strain of small working terriers, I won't go into the ethics of crossbreeding as we all know where we stand, but I was after a small happy go lucky dog and she fits that bill, and her parents had both been health tested at the time. She wasn't a dillydally bred cross, her breeder had carefuly selected dogs for years and years to breed from by the time I brought 6lo, she was a rareity of a first cross to inject some need blood back in, the lady had a well thought idea that she'd devoted her life too, she sadly died a year or so after we had Florrie from her, very said she was very nice and really cared for her dogs. Would I buy a purposely bred xbreed again? No, but that's just personal opinion on ethics more than anything. She's been a grand dog though, so laidback and a real diamond.

Here is Becky she was my keeper from Cilla's litter in May.

She is 7 months old here and the reason for the head shot only is the rest of her body is still fluffy.
This picture for the club year book
