Perfect stafford - what would your ideal Staffordshire Bull Terrier look like? Discussions

    Well I may be entering this debate late but better late than never.

    One of the staffords I've seen that comes closest to my ideal is my Sal and Tess's mom Cragails Black'een to me she is pretty close to perfect and has a nature to match.

    This is my Sal's head which I think is one of the best bits of my Sal - that and her movement.

    ....dog belongs to a m8..19in...very powerful dog and he moves like the wind..big, fit, and healthy ..and a good family pet

    This was my very first staff. Rocky. Please excuse the horrible collar the guy I stayed with at the time was kinda macho :? This is going back a few years. He was born '84 but in this picture I reckon he's about 3. He lived untill he was 15.

    Very nice looking animal, I remember this pic from another forum there was a little bitch posted too (red & white) was a cracking example. Nice dogs.

    mmmm....no expert but staffys are supposed to have 'straight' fronts...he looks more like a bulldog ...sorry JMO

    I actually agree with you archer, I think the dog is a very nice looking animal, but if it were me personally I wouldnt want a dog with a turn of elbow like that, I prefer dogs with a very wide but dead straight front.

    Hey guys...same dog different angle...iv personal experience with this dog, i know the standard..i wont tell u what i think of it...(jmo) straight front !...lol....iv had this dog doing mileage that proved he is of sound build...but hey bueaty is in the eye of the beholder right !...lol
