I think you need to insert the word some in front of Pugs because I have two, love their faces and they manage to breathe and run around and rough and tumble with my other dogs with no issues at all. Why's that? because they came from an ethical breeder who wouldn't dream of breeding from dogs with breathing issues and goes above and beyond with the health tests carried out on dam and sire before breeding them. Is it possible your sproker would be free of genetic problems if your breeder had been as diligent with health testing her dogs before breeding them to ensure any problems were not passed on. There are no guarantees in life but breeders need to ensure they only breed from dogs with no known issues within the breed, simply crossing with a different breed does not eradicate genetic issues.
