    he is lovely. i really love "bear" type dogs but hate grooming so if i had one it would have to be clipped short and as practical as it may be it wouldnt look right

    Does anyone here have a Newfie. I ask because Zack will be 9 in July and I heard they don't have a big life span, some say 8-9 and yet I have heard of 10 yr olds.

    Don't be fooled by the photo Zack does not like water, when he was a puppy he fell in our pond luckily I was there and since its takes ages just to get him to paddle. :rolleyes:

    I LOVE the water photo's - and how appropriate for his breed! We wont tell anyone he's not too keen.
