Ed and Merry travelled on their large size one today. It was ever so cheap from Aldi and it has lasted for over a year, and still looks as it did. We have had two branded ones previously which had 'gone off' when I got them out the following year.
Ach - not to worry... as long as the a/c in my bedroom works. But I could do with a cold wotsit for my pillow.
They do make chill pillows. Some have an insert, some are made of the same gel used for the dog mats. See, Chillow.
I have seen those chill pillows but because of my neck I need a soft squidgy pillow that is not too firm and that I can squidge between my head and neck. But as long as the power is on so I can keep the a/c on, all is OK. But I do not know how I coped before as I originally did not even have any fans. And when I did they really only spread hot air around the place.
Gareth - what exactly do you do in your bed to get crumbs in in? On second thoughts I really do not want to know! But thank you for making me laugh.
Juli, I won't even allow food in the bedroom, never mind on/in the actual bed. I always told the kids the same. If your in my room absolutely no food or drink! But my daughter never listened and always made me coffee and toast on the weekend as a treat, knowing I'd never tell her off, the little madam. She had me totally wrapped around her little finger!
Little man had a haematoma removed today and has been a little wobbly. So has been glued to me more than usual. Bless him!
Awww poor little man - he does look a bit sorry for himself, but wrapping himself in his special blankie should make him feel better. Please tell him Tikki and I are sending him lots of get better quickly love.
Thankfully no, it had been caused by a constant scratching he had been doing, which caused a burst blood vessel in his ear, so a drainage was required. All good now though! And thank you for your kind words @CaroleC
