Oh Gareth, thank goodness that someone was with you on that near fatal night. I have been lucky enough to come through a twenty year depression and two health 'close shaves'. It makes you realise just how fragile our health can be, and how little time we have to do what is really important to us. We spend the majority of our lives doing things that we should do, so I'm glad you are able to take the time to create your music and enjoy every extra day that you have been granted... and Mr. Bronson of course!
Thank you so much. And I'm so glad your ok carol. I have recently taken a long hard long at my life and how precious it is. I give all I can to whoever needs my help. Depression isn't talked about enough and needs to be addressed by everyone, even by those who haven't suffered from it. Because until it's widely understood and brought into the public eye more, it will not get the people who need it the help they deserve. So I will do all I can to bring it to the attention of the masses, so it isn't a subject that is feared and brushed under the carpet of shame. God bless everyone. Love will conquer all.
Hang on to your clothes and your ideas. As soon as you throw them out, they will come back in fashion.
My next work is about a Victorian Courtesan. The final mix is about to be complete on the music and then the lyrics will be recorded in the coming days. Very pleased to be close to the end of another project. Then work can begin on the next endeavour!
Nobody in particular. Just came up with the lyrics last year, now I've finally got around to writing the music!
The Little man hasn't been well this week. He developed a limp and the vet said it was a ligament strain, (thankfully not more serious, as I worried it might be). So has been on strict bed rest, no stairs, jumping on/off the sofa and on his lead for the toilet. Feeling sorry for himself, he seems to be making the most of being even more spoilt than usual!
Poor little man. Tell him no jumpy jumpies and all that stuff because we do not want a poorly little man, we want him back to 100% perfect. Tikva sends him tailwags and polite kisses.
And to insult to injury, the boiler decided to pack up earlier. So now no heating or hot water and it is absolutely horrendous out. So toilet time is a military operation which involves me getting kitted out in my army gear, two hats and a pair of gloves. Little man has his jacket on, but still shivers. And today he was almost completely submerged in snow, it's that bad!
Secret squirrel hasn't made an appearance in quite a while now, which makes me very sceptical, as I do think I'm due a visit any time soon?
