I lived in the Rhondda Valley and over in Cardigan back in the UK and loved my time in Wales. Great place! As for the sun, I'm already having to wait until gone 9 pm so that I can get the dogs out comfortably...It's a hard life with 300 + days of warm sun a year hehe
Haha that's awesome - small world eh!! What were you doing here? How long were you here? I'd love all that sunshine you get - send us some over
I spent a year or two off-and-on in Cardigan and just maybe 6 months in Gelli working on some properties I had down there. Being a Geordie I think most people didn't even consider me to be English lol so I received zero problems in either place. Obviously being a tidy chap helps as well! Are you in the Rhondda Valley yourself? The sun? You're welcome to it...after seven years here I'm sick of it!
It's just warming up now in May...and it makes life with dogs really difficult (up and out at crazy hours of the morning and night; otherwise it's just plain impossible). You're in the same boat, eh?
yeah im sure you both really missing walking your dogs in rain, hail, snow, strong wind and having pavements so slippy with ice you just skate behind the dog totally out of control or fog so bad you get lost in your own street.
Coming up to 29 years now but only the last 16 with a canine companion. It was 39°C yesterday and "down" to "only" 36° today. I have had to have the air-con on in my bedroom the last few nights as Pereg has not been doing too good and the heat was bothering her, even though I would normally not put it on at night for a few weeks yet.
