Just wanted to share my beautiful Mongrel girls Maggie is: * 50 % Labrador * 25 % GSD * 25 % " Danish Hen Hound" (this is a direkt translation ;-) it's an old danish breed called Gl. Dansk Hønsehund that is similar to a french breed called Braque Francois) Luna is: * 50 % Basset Hound * 50 % English Cocker Spaniel
My lovely 'bitza' Toby. No idea what went into him - he was from a rescue home. His owner left the area and he came to me aged 8. Very intelligent and happy to be trained. Died in 1997, age 14, from Cushings disease. Fantastic companion, still miss him, wonderful temperament, loving, stubborn, funny, everything you'd want from a dog. Very brave - defended me against an aggressive dog intent on doing me harm and led me to a ditch where a dog was trapped, unable to get out.
All the pics are great, here is Zanta my x breed,newfie/berner hope this works and that there arent too many pics, not sure how to do single ones (sorry) here she is with an aunt and her sister, and a litter of berner pups her half sisters and brothers.Zanta is the dog on the left of the first picture. http://photobucket.com/albumsa171/Zantababy

We got her from a breeder in Cambridge, originally I was after a Pedigree berner, and had been to look at the dogs in January to get an idea of size and temperament and we liked the breeder and the way she was with her dogs, obviously she keeps newfies aswell which hubbie fell in love with,we were all set to wait for the litter she was expecting at end of summer and she e.mails us that there had been an accident and she had two newfie berner pups, were we interested, decided to take a look and that was it fell in love. When we went back to visit I told breeder everybody wants one but she said they will be a one off from her anyway.
