If a breeder is breeding longcoats specifically then to be honest I would avoid them, because its not to breed standard, and I would be concerned if a breeder does breed longcoats/woolie nowadays seeing that an easy and reasonably cheap test is available I would be concerned of what other test they couldnt be bothered doing. as mentioned at the time of breeding the litter that produced this boy, the test was not available, since then all my dogs have been tested, willow that produced this boy is a carrier, the litter brother and sister of this boy that I kept are NOT carriers, the litter I had since this one, Willow the carrier was mated to a non carrier and did not produce longcoats/woolies. this boy is a long coat its texture is quite harsh.
