In one of her latest litters, she is using a girl with a hip score of 3/11. The grand sire of this litter is 5/32 ( sires dad ).
Scores are too uneven . Where are all the elbow scores of the current parents of the three litters she has on the ground at the moment ?
As both myself and Pam have said please have your pedigree professionally checked out :002:

So if you don't hip score your dog cannot have HD ??????

I had a perfectly sound BC, his hip score was 68(34:34)

What are the neurological deficits you write about ? Epilepsy is

In dogs it can be genetic & so dogs that have produced epileptic offspring or who have full/half siblings with epilepsy should not be bred from.

There are 1,000s of GSDs with correct colouring, good hips/elbows also with no history of epilepsy, DNA clear for DM etc so why use a dog that has such a bad genetic condition ?

I don't know anything about the breeder, but going simply by the allegations posted here, they are not breeding responsibly and are producing unhealthy dogs, taking great risks with the health of the puppies, and creating a lot of heartache for owners and suffering puppies. It is very sad :-(

However, I have to say that if, for whatever reasons, I owned a dog whose lines probably/possibly carried a genetic condition e.g. epilepsy/heart defects etc, and my pet, non-breeding dog showed no clinical signs of a disease which I could do nothing to prevent, I would probably not have the pedigree professionally checked or diagnositic tests carried out. If the checks/tests turned out positive, I would be worried to death about my dog developing them, and I would rather not know . . .

Why hip score and then ignore the high/uneven score and continue to breed the dog anyway :-( :?: :x
