Unfortunately anyone can breed a litter, don't see how reporting them will stop them producing these pups,(puppy farms have been reported, yet they still operate)
As for anything been wrong who knows, you can't tell by looking at a photo.

There is no mention in the ad about the conditions L2/HC PHPV & PPSC which affect staffords and they should be tested for.

Maybe with the KC refusing registrations it will make the breeders think twice before breeding, well we can hope anyway.

I've been thinking about this and have a theory as to how they came about.

The person in the ad is right about the Alpaha blue blood bull dog does have this colour, but i dont think thats how the colour came about i also dont think that apbt's were used otherwise we would of seen more already but i think the breed that was used was...

Chihauhau's bare with me, you can get dapple chi's, and chocolate and champagne (at least the chi my brother was going to get was champagne), plus we have mini ebts and plenty of designer dogs, so i wouldnt think it would take a byb long to try and cash in on this but thats just my theory take it or leave it thats up to you :)

If they are Merle then they are not pure bred Staffords so why should they be allowed to be registered as such.

I must say, being involved with deaf dogs, and having a double dapple (merle) dachshund.... I HATE the merle gene! well more so hate the people breeding merles.... so, so often we hear about merle to merle breeding, with the white (double merle) pups being euth. its sick and discusting.

As far as I know, the merle did not come from the APBT, or the Amstaff, as neither of those breeds are supposed to carry the merle gene either. at least they dont here, and with hundreds of pit bull types on the deaf dogs list I'm on, not a single one is a double merle. tho there's lots of double merle danes, dachshunds, chi's, shelties, border collies, rough collies, catahoula leopard dogs, australian sheps..... and mutts. Merle is not a gene to mess with, so i'm glad they aren't allowing registration of them, for the breeds sake (even if it only affects the registered ones, it helps!)
