    hes a cute little man, but bitkin what is that head on the wall? rather freaked me out i cant work out what it is

    Hello Katy...........it was once a fox, about 125 years ago! The brass plaque proclaims him to be a Goodwood fox. Admittedly it is a little moth eaten having spent many years on the wall of a hostelry, but his lordship is rather fond of it and so on the wall it stays. At Christmas time he has a crown of tinsel!

    my dad has one thats just the whole body empty and some things been done to head. Hes had it since i was a kid. Phoebe is obsessed with it and can reach it so will walk around with it when she goes round. im not overly fond

    That sounds like one of those stole things that our great grannies used to wear!! Phoebe is good not to have torn your dad's one to little pieces!

    she just walks around with it in her mouth and cuddles it up on the sofa. But she also catches bunnys and just licks them - shes not a normal dog

    Oh I remember those stole things. An elderly relative had one complete with head and feet, draped over the banisters, and I can remember being quite upset and stroking the poor thing. I don't know whether I thought I could bring it back to life!

    You know what though for all his dodgy habits I missed him soooo much when he was gone. I moved on to decent, well behaved, cultured dogs and had to go and ruin it all by getting another terrier:D. Gotta love the little oikes.
