LOL.... nah, Ziggy inhales every biscuit we give him....

the reason for this is that he thinks if he eats his quick enough there might be a bit of Archie's left to steal

i love my Jacks because they are so versitile, they have stomachs of iron they can go all day, or they will be a quiet lap dog, they are practical to transport and are not as nerotic(SP?) as some other pedigree dogs, and are excellent watchdogs...as long as they are with someone they are happy to do or go anywhere!!

i have one shortie and one taller Jack neither are registered with any and when i bought them i was not aware that jacks could be registered, but to me they are perfect and anybody who asks me what sort of dog they should get i always recommend a jack, also have converted many jack haters into jack lovers,
they have a undeserved bad reputation, if socialised properly as pups will tolerate anything or anyone who wants to be their friend...

Indeed emily, i agree with you. We take Toby all over with us and he's never a problem he just fits in with what we are doing.

He's a friendly fellow, i think he prefers the owners to the dogs these days. Yesterday i had toby out for a walk, he dissapeared, when i went bakc round the corner i found him in a womans kitchen with her.
she said "its him again" LOL! He had followed her and her dog previously so must of remembered where she lived. I think he has took a bit of a shine to her.

My favourite dogs are Jack Russell Terrorists!

I only have one at the moment, Tonto who is 13months old.....

Hopefully he'll come out the right way round (photobucket keeps rotating him!)

Some more pics of our JRT..Polly, whom will be 8 years old on october the 17th (i think)..as we got her on feb 17th and she was 6 months old roughly...
She is improving (health wise) lately..her heart is doing VERY well, she enjoys life in general much more once more!
Shes still very much the Queen Of The House and all the other pets bow down to the 'mamma' as she has brought all of um up, regardless of colour, breed and even species!
    Some recent pics..

'Chillin' whilst sporting her pink 'feathery' collar (i know the irony, a semi retired working terrier wearing a pink collar! )

Would just like to say-wonderful pics fellow mad folk (u have to be bonkers to own a russell of course:lol: )
Russells really are a breed (well a type if we are being 'picky') apart! I have a westie x dandie dinmont at present too..and eyes on a Springer in the next 18 months or so..but i would never be without a Russell in the house, Poll is my own first Russell, but brought up with family member who allways had at least several for good measure, and bred the 'true working type; since before i was around!
Deffo a breed apart-Think the old saying "Can't live with um-Can't live without um" applys well to Russells:lol: Yes they destroy the lawn, eat everything in sight, have the ability to be optionally deaf, lack the want to return when off the lead, try n eat anything small n fluffy, quite often yap their heads off, are reknown for dissapearing off into holes and hedgerows and ignoring us totally...but what else would you want in a dog?!?! I mean life with a russell is hardly boring:lol:

Wow Luke!! She is the 'spit' of my Millie. Beautiful face and even the dark skin under her tummy. It was just like looking at Millie, she is light brown (tan) on her brown bits but mostly white. Both of your babes look to be having fun. Thank you, Lovely photo's.
    AnneXX:grin:

P.S. My Patch is my big (little) man, Looked after me and Millie while Jeff in hosp. Both my JRT's are amazing. (Had to mention Patch,) I felt guilty not doing so.

    JRT's Are SUPER!!!!:smt041
