your dog cannot possibly have been sired by CH Psycho, this dog died some time ago  your dog is probably descended from the Psycho line as this strain of dogs are very common, my dogs are related to Psycho through a dog called jocko that you might have heard of

he looks like an SBT to me, with a dash of "Irish" blood :D
have you looked on the shakers and turnstyle sites? they give a bit of background on the psycho line of dogs, how they are bred etc.

The dog CH Psycho is on both sites, if you look at the male dogs or pedigree pages you will see how he is bred

Hi does anyone on dogweb know if ther is such a thing as a Whiptail Staff or is that the same thing as an Irish Staff? Also how big do Irish Staffs get as I have an eight month old male who is about 20-21 inches at the shoulder.

Hello Bolty, never heard of a whiptailed Staff, I would think about another inch is as much as you will get on your pup, which is quite tall for an Irish Stafford.

We live in the south of England and there are a fair few breeders that advertise their Staffy pups as Whiptail Staffs and as Whiptail x Irish Staff. My friend bought a Staff which the breeder said was Whiptail from scotland and it is pedigree with kc papers so there is obviously some confusion on what a Whiptail actually is. Maybe it is just another name for Irish.

There is only one Stafford recognised by the Kennel Club and that is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier so any KC papers would and could only be for a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (not Irish etc). Is whiptail maybe a kennel affix?

I thought affix to Laura, but never heard of any affix remotely like Whiptail.
