Information wanted on Hungarian Vizsla? General Chat

Beautiful dogs!

What are they like when they're off lead? I've heard they stay close to their owner, but I'm not entirely convinced seeing as they're gun dogs.

Kibo rarely has me out of his sight when he's off lead. He checks in frequently and his recall, normally, would be described as pretty perfect. My experience is that they like to know where their owners are, but don't feel the need to always be at heel.

My experiences too, most of the ones I know never move to far away from their owners.....
