Yes they definitely have their different personalities! My Vienna is just over 2 years old. We dont have any kids and neither do any of our friends but although a little unsure about some children (a little scared sometimes) she is great with them - very gentle and lets them stroke and hug her but once she feels she has had enough she just moves away and tries to hide inbetween my legs. Close friends of ours have just gotten pregnant (exciting!) so im sure we'll be babysitting soon!
Also we got 2 kittens when she was nearly 2 years old. She hadnt really met cats before then - only once she met a friends cat and they just sat across the room from one another but she had just been spayed so she was feeling somewhat delicate! Anyway she has been wonderful from day one of getting the kittens. She thinks they are her babies and cleans them all the time!
But we never leave the dogs and cats alone together just in case the dogs want to play with the cats cos they can so easily squash them! But then i dont believe in leave dogs with any animal or children unsupervised as everyone knows - accidents can happen - if only because dogs can be quite clumsy!
Do your research well and make sure you get to know your breeder and what you want from your dogs. They can be quite stubborn as a breed and will easily take advantage if you let them get their way!
