You only have TWO bitches so have no concept of what can happen with a pack of bitches.

Nanuq's parents have had more than one litter in the past with no problems arising, so the relative risk of Nanuq even being a carrier is low - so doing what Marie plans to do and putting her to an 'outside' dog with no problems in its line is far safer than all the Northern Inuit breeders who continue to breed related dogs. They won't discover that the dogs they are breeding from ARE carriers until they make the wrong combination - and even then they might not find out for several years. Marie is doing everything possible to reduce the risk, of which there was very little in the first place.

    Well done Marie.

Thats right. Luna was never owned by Marie.
    So pick on me now.

Marie's decision to rehome any of her dogs is irrelevant to this thread.

    Werewolf -

You posted saying that you did not believe Nanuq's Sire is a carrier, cos there are a number of NIS breeders that have a bitch or dog sired by him, yet you seem to believe that Nanuq may be a carrier. I can't remember where you posted this and unlike you I do not keep notes, or spend time going through old threads to find it.

Have you now chaged you mind about this? Are you also asking these NIS breeders not to breed from their bitch/dog? Or is it just me you are having a go at cos I am not a member of you club?

Oh thats right you don't answer questions do you

Well if she couldn't cope with more than 2 bitches dont keep getting them its not a hard concept really, you dont see me getting in more dogs n then making the same excuse over n over again when I need to rehome them!

Jem i think you should quit while the going is good, this thread may well come back to haunt you.
You have already said many times you struggle with 2 dogs & have thought about rehoming one of them. You then go on to say your considering breeding in the future by bringing in more dogs. Seriously i'm not saying this to be mean but your not really the best person to judge this (no offence)

Im not breeding now though am i?
You dont know my plans for it all so it's highly doubtful it would come back to haunt me as its being looked at properly not just getting 2 dogs 2gether n hoping for the best.
Yes I DID struggle with my 2 but I dont anymore as I've put all my time and effort into them both and its on going, I actually think im quiet suitable to judge as I've been there and dealt with it and not rehomed one because things got to difficult!

Yes she's 'been through it' with two bitches - first she cant cope and is asking for help, then she is rehoming, next she is breeding, then she is rehoming - makes you dizzy lol

The thing is jem and ww, it was not just difficult, it was also dangerous and the danger did not just include the bitches in the pack it also included my daughter, i did not give up on them i made a dicision that was safest for the bitches involved and of course my daughter, as i have said before if u can not understand this then so b it, the fights that went on between the bitches were not just little tiffs they were full blown fights, and serious injuries where inflicted on a bitch

Can i ask, what on earth this has to do with thread, lets now get back on topic.
