    Hi all

I would love to see all of your videoes and pics Nat, Willow and AM..

I've just come home from a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG day...

We (I) forgot to put the clock one hour back, so instead of getting up at 7.30 am to go to training, I got up at 6.30 am.

We walked to traning (about 45 min. in a fast trot), no one there... 3 puppy owners came (So I wasnt the only one about the time) and they all played. Luna loved it. Well finally it was 9 am and we trained obedience for 1 hour, then we walked (again fast tror) for 25 minutes, home to my mum and were there for about 2 hours, then back to the training field again (25 minutes fast trot), to do agility for 1 hour..

We then took the bus most of the way home, went in to buy some food at the shop, and walked about 20 minutes more in a fast trot...

    I'm not moving anymore today!!!!

Oooh guess what I did today... I signed us up for a competition on sunday.. In obedience... So fingers crossed please:)

Oooh and Luna did a perfect retrieve today

So all in all a good day. I've decided that when obedience training stops for the winter, its the last time we go. Neither Luna or I can cope with both Obedience and agility at the same day with 3 hours interval, yes if I had a car.. but I dont...

And to be honest, I think I'm going to start her on some special retriever training. In the retrieverclub... When I have the money.. 6 times for £25, not cheap, but its training towards the "brugsprøve" (Fieldtrial??)

So a knackered J is going to be sitting in front of the computer, untill its time for bed.. Well have to empty the washing machine, but that's about it:)

JMO, if you decide to do that, try going to some training session in both clubs. See what type of training you prefer and who runs the places.
Also the test you want to take is very different at those clubs. One is much more "demanding" and actual "real life work orientated".

I could tell you what I think is best but you allready know that
Besides, its really all about what you want with her and how much training you´re willing to put into this

Well to be honest.. I cant afford to go where I go now.. And I dont know when I'll be able to afford the other one, so there will be a period, where we have to train on our own.

And then I'm going to see if I can find the fee for the agility..I might not, and may have to stop with that aswell...

But I can see what you mean about trying both at the same time... And it would be great, but its not an option for me these days, months...

I wasnt suggestion you going to take lessons in both clubs
I ment you go see who they both are and how they do it and then make up your mind which one suits you and Luna the best.

Ahhhhh sorry, I'm so tired today, I cant read properly...

Maybe I should contact the trainer in our area and ask if I can go look.. But I dont know when I'll be able to afford to go..

Right now I cant afford anything, but I really really want to continue the agility, so that's the thing I'm going to see if I can scrape money up for..

The agility and training in DcH is the same, very expenssive and if I can only afford one of them, I choose agility....

I know, what and how I should train the DcH ways, so I can do that for a time, and then see if I can find somewhere else to train. The retriever club or something else...

Okay.. If the test on sunday goes really well, that may change my mind, but I doubt we'll get the 110 points necessary

Fingers crossed for you on the test next sunday

And dont worry about "if you can go look at training". We went to all sort of classes to see different retrievers, types, training, trainers, handlers, you name it before we even got Ally
So just give them a call and go take a look. Also remember that trials are going on now so find those in your area and go see them. Everyone is really helpful and nice there and I bet you´ll know a lot more after seen a few

    Thanks AM:)

I will give them a call:)

But this next week, we are working a bit on all the things we are doing on sunday. Not intense and for hours on end, cos I know we shouldnt, but just work the program through a couple of times on the afternoon walk
