I don't have a problem mixing and matching dogs to creat a certain ''breed'' that people want.
I feel as long as its done ethically (which it often isn't) then whats the difference between a timber dog or whatever and any other type of dog.
After all people breed goldens because people want to buy the look/temperment and as long as its done ethically I see no outcry.

How do you define ethically?

My local animal shelter would claim this to be not breeding any animals until all the unwanted puppies and adult dogs had been re-homed.
