    Didnt realise you could register a dog with the KC afterwards. Mind you, my dogs have no papers so never had any experience with the KC in that respect.

    Sorry Abbie, should have qualified that by saying some intervariety breedings.

    The Laekenois/Malinois for instance, first cross have three asterisks, then then next generation from that will have two, and so on.

    I have also seen asterisks after the names of Mali/Terv produced dogs, in show catalogues.
