I only have one, a hairless one I don't think there are many with this breed around here where we live, cause almost everyone who stops to look at him says they have never seem any other dog like that before
Oh I get that I also get a lot of nasty comments. But you soon get used to those. I love my hairless boy he's my world. If you look in the pictures section you will find loads oaf my boy. He does a lot. We do gundog work and tracking and he loves to swim unique little guy
I haven't had that many nasty comment to be honest. They are by far outweighted by the amount of nice comments I've gotten
I've got mine too well, she's just a little "bas*ard" ;-) but actually I was really searching for exactly that kind of mix either an Pekinese / long haired Dachshund crossing or even an Peki / Malteser like I've now just something like that as I just like those lovely caracteristics like the pighaed of the Pekinese but I never had liked such a breeding of heritable defects like they are so I was lucky and got exactly what I was looking for a healthy, small, hairy, lovable, agile and cuddly, pigheaded and stubborn, little dog, with her very own personality, who gets me to laugh so often
Malpeki.. my little dog is a Lhasa Apso and Min Long Haired Dachshund cross. They make a cute combo. For me (in real life).. a Havanese, Lhasa Apso and Tibetan Terrier. Fantasy dogs.. by looks only.. Malinois, Shiloh Shepherd, Malamute, Siberian Husky and Akita.
well, I did see your small one in the other pics threat also very lovely just prefer those hairy, shaggy dogs but for the rest, i could make a list, which would crash that system here as I really like almost every breed, by looks like you said also those here called "Listenhunde" kinda "dogs of the list"? maybe? they put on this list those called attack dogs, where I also think about, the most of them are also just looking fabulous
Money has no relevance, I can't see myself owning anything but Boston Terriers. They're just the perfect dog for me, absolutely nuts and hilarious... the only animals that have ever made me break into senseless laughter many times a day.
Mmmmm hard one. Tonks is pretty near perfect really! Possibly a Harlequin Great Dane. Also love Irish Wolfhounds and Leonbergers, and Estrellas.....but think I'll always have short haired dogs from now on. I love big dogs!
Irish wolfhounds and borzois are way up there on my dream list! I can see them probably eating more than all of my other critters combined lol - big, but gorgeous looking things! More realistically, I've got my heart set one some kind of smooth collie in the future. Its all about the vulnerable native breeds haha! (or as my brother put it; hipster dogs)
awww Irish wolfhounds but I guess, even if I had the space, the time, the money for them I would be afraid of their short lifespan :-( I heard about 6 to 8, maybe 10? years? if I imagine, mine is already 5 years old, but I've got the feeling, I got her only shortly? time is running so quickly so then maybe only one year left with her? think I couldn't bear that imagine
Well I plan on getting my dream breed next year - a Hovawart ;-) But I do have many breeds I'd like to own in the future.
