Woman who left Kai the Shar-Pei tied up outside train station and claims she did NOTHING WRONG
the 39-year-old mother claims she left the dog behind after the sale of him fell through.
Ms Rayner claims she had arrived at Ayr train station planning to buy the dog for £400 after replying to an advert on listings website Gumtree.

But when she got to the station with her nine-year-old daughter Rhiannon Strachan, she found Kai - whose real name is Pluto - did not look like the dog in the advert.

Mmm! sounds very strange, so where did the suitcase come from ???

Kai didn't look skinny to me, sounds like she was trying sell him not buying him.

What a sad and messy tale. I certainly think that whoever is proved to be the owner, (do we presume the man in the car?), should be charged with abandoning an animal. Though the woman does not sound suitable for being a good dog owner, if she had not handed over any money, was she actually responsible for the dog?
The detail does not add up, and I think there is still more of this story to emerge, for example, who was it that named him Kai? - or Pluto? Train or no train, she should have still made sure that the right people were made aware of the dog's situation.

I agree its a bloody mess and somebody is telling 'Porkies' They contacted the owner registered to the microchip, who stated they had sold Kai on Gumtree in 2013. Unfortunately they could not tell us the address of the person who bought him, no mention of him being named Pluto.
