 Yes DAwn that picture is public, but if you try to get on any other you need a password!!

I would also ask you both to keep your childish comments to yourselves regarding the dogs as the puppy had to be put to sleep and its pretty upsetting to read your disgraceful comments.

Questions for whoever wants to have a go at answering them.

Is there a specific subspecies of wolf that the british ut is being bred to resemble? if so, which one.

Or, is it just breeding to what is presumed to be the stereotypic example of a wolf? if so, do you know that all bua breeders share the same view as to what is stereotypical.

What physical characteristics of the ideal, are present in the dogs you currently have? what needs improving? and what do you hope to gain in the way of those improvements from the outcrosses to gsd, mal, sib etc?. Other than improved genetic diversity of course.

    Temperament

What is the desired temperament for the british utonagan? in as much detail as you can please, including the negative aspects, every breed has them.

What would be an undesirable temperament for the british utonagan?

Do the dogs around at the moment fit the desired temperament, or is it still a work in progress?

How do you expect the inclusion of gsd etc to impact on the temperament of the british utonagan of tomorrow? what do you hope they will add positively to the developing breed?

I don't understand.:-( I thought Photobucket was private because in order to open an account, access it and download photos, you need a username and password. Don't you?

Yes but you can make the account private... so people can not view the photos, unless you post the code.
The email and password is there so the person that made the account can sign in, edit pictures, delete them, uploads new ones ect.

Dawn, as alady hasn't provided me with the names of the eye testers but indicates that they are at the bottom of an eye test result in your possession, would you mind forwarding the names please - clearly this is alady's preferred way of dealing with it as she has not advised of their identity herself but indicated you have this information.

Alady - I disagree strongly with the information you have been given regarding retinal folds. Any retinal fold, no matter how slight, must be considered to be a potential indication that the dog may be affected by MRD in later life.

You also seem to be under the misapprehension that there must be a severe problem with MRD within my breed - this is completely incorrect, there have been a couple of cases of MRD reported but we take these things seriously and as a result any indication of a fold on puppy screening no matter how minor would result in the puppy, and it's liter mates not being bred from. After all I am sure most responsible breeders would rather withdraw the dogs and their offspring from the gene pool than risk perpetuating the problem, not to mention saddling a prospective puppy owner with a dog which potentially could suffer from defective vision, or even blindness.

Some of the photo's are password protected, such as this one..

    http://photobucket.com/guestlogin?albumUrl=http://s686.photobucket.com/albums/vv224/sandra4534/

But some of the photo's are cached, like these ones.

Removed the link as I noticed it may contain private information..

But as some of you can see, the cache was there so the account was indeed locked afterwards, everything at one time was in the public domain.

Now thats very intresting because them eye certs are not stamped, although exactly the same certs we get! All eye tests for prcd/pra and glaucoma we have had for our dogs the cert has ALWAYS had a stamp on it!...

So anyone else that eye tests at a clinic do you get a vet stamp...and if their not stamped are they not real? (which is what i have always been led to believe)??

Oh I recognise those photos

They belong to a "rather charming" bua breeder who recently asked me if I had a stud dog

He informed me amongst other things that he "breeds to feed" and when I called him a puppy farmer I received the following message

UR LUCK WILL SOON RUN OUT. UR NOTHIN BUT BAD BAD NEWS. N WHEN U GET BAD LUCK COMES. I WILL BE IN UR THORTS. CURSE U BITCH N UR PIGS HEAD.
