Border Collie breed standard Discussions

Siren.....affectionately referred to as a 'Barbie' collie by her American friends....or 'The beauty Queen' by her herding friends.
She is show bred (ish - has a bit of ISDS- way back - and Sport bred stuff in there as well)


She does not have an excessive coat as is probably smaller than you would see many of the working dogs....although - the smooth coated b/w (which is pure ISDS and worked at the Nationals this year) was a tad smaller than her.


She is still capable of working sheep...


Not a lot will stop her - she has a huge enthusiasm for the job, it has taken her a long time to learn her 'That'll do' command

This is a dog (who was national champion a few year back) by comparison is a big boy
