I will! I'm not sure, not asked. But I've asked a couple of forums now about the colour of the pup and I'm getting mixed responses between blue and lilac. I guess I'll have to wait to see how he grows up, all I know is he will be long haired lol. Can't wait for the 20th August so he can come home lol
Oh have the parents had all their health tests done ?? Are the puppies going to screened for CEA before they are sold ? Sorry but I personally wouldn't touch an unregistered BC/WSD puppy with a bargepole unless all the tests had been done & the pedigree known-it's not enough for the parents to look like BC/WSD to look like the breed & to be able to work-health is equally important to me
Actually he will be rough coated-no such term as long coated for BC/WSDs. They are smooth or rough coated & some are in between like my Jessie !
He is lovely - difficult to tell with the fotos as the camera is changing the colour In the fist foto of the latest lots he deff looks blue Here is the colour descriptions for border collies - with lots of fotos http://www.gis.net/~shepdog/BC_Museum/Permanent/BCColors_Blue/BC_ColorBlue.html
Thats an interesting page----note the 'excitement' at the bald ears! It is alopecia and is common in dilutes which is why you don't breed them together! rune
Nor has Tassles' but it happens! I was amazed someone who was supposed to be good at colours---the web site writer---didn't actually know about it. I nearly ended up with a blue and white pup one christmas--a Voderville---it was free givaway at 8 weeks. That had bald ears. rune
