What a beautiful and multiply accomplished girl! We need more like her in the public eye. I mean, I know my boy is stunning and a fine representative of his breed, but not everyone else knows Akitas for the awesomeness they encapsulate.
Thank you all very much for your kind comments. Flora has been going from strength to strength. Earlier this year she was a winner of SuperDogs Live at the London Pet Show. This Wednesday she is doing a photo shoot with Ben Fogle to help promote the National Pet Show. She has also been invited by the organisers to open the National Pet Show at the NEC too. How cool is that? Last week we received a fantastic email from the PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) to say that Flora had been awarded one of the UK's highest animal honours, a Commendation for (her) Devotion to Duty. We have also received an invitation from the Japanese Embassy (in London). Flora has asked if she would like to come to the annual Japan Matsuri ( an annual Japanese cultural festival) to be held in Trafalgar Square on September 27th. Please come along if you are able. It will be a great event.
