Bit confused re choosing a 2nd dog later Questions

Just to complicate matters I have just spoken to Parker's breeder and she knows of a male dog almost 2 years of age that is looking for another home as it is over-protective of the mother and daughter in the home.

She is shocked as it has bitten a man and her dogs are known for their lovely temperaments. She said you don't always get the true story re what has happened. I said would it be ok to have 2 males together? and she said it depends on the dogs and she has never had any problems with her dogs. Parker is very easy-going too so I couldn't envisage a problem there.

A great point in its favour is that it's very dog-friendly so that would be a plus point as far as Jamie is concerned though not if it bit him I guess!!
