You really do need to join this century ya know, dogs born outside of their ancestors country or region of origin don`t have different fake breed names because of being born outside their ancestors region /area/country boundary - a French Poodle born in Rotherham does`nt have a separate breed name of Rotherham Poodle, an Australian Shepherd born in Llanelli does`nt become a Llanelli Shepherd, a Border Collie does`nt need to be born in the Borders to be a Border Collie, seriously if all current individual dogs were called a breed name as per where they were born the KC would have to make an awfully long program list for Crufts, larger countries would need a program produced in Encyclopaedic type volumes for their Breed shows

Anyone buying a dog on an activities register `pedigree` would have to be pretty dim :101: the activities register is not connected to the breed register as well you know.
To simplify for you, [ if that really is not within your vast knowledge font :002:], there is no such thing as an activities register `pedigree`, its for un-papered dogs to participate in agility, flyball, etc etc, please stop this silliness about the gene pool and the activities register, it`s not a credible argument therefore just makes your credibility look very flawed to readers.

No one should breed from any dog without knowing the ancestry and health status of the ancestry, it`s irrelevant in terms of this discussion, it`s about one breed name for one breed. They could be called `Sky Blue Pink Some Herd Sheep Some Don`t Dogs` for all I care so long as it`s one name and one only, as all other breeds have. [ Except Alsatians/GSDs for which both names are officially recognised for one breed ].

Hmmm a dog with a hereditary condition commonly among specific breeds, unusually unlucky to have been the result of carrier purebred and carrier whatever else, sounds like straw clutching to use that one as an argument, though the argument fails anyway on the point that only dogs of known ancestry should be bred from and to suggest a dog known to be CEA affected would be used in the genepool is not about breed name but lack of any morals regardless of the breed.
Interesting that my Border Collies, [ according to their pedigree papers ], which are genetically deaf, one of which is CEA affected as well, are BCs through and through so the gene pool did them no favours did it, the crappy breeders are entirely responsible, that`s not about breed name any more than your flimsy example is.
You still have`nt told me how my boys were genetically morphed into the fake wsd `breed` by their papers remaining with the rescue, please don`t keep it to yourself I am very interested in how this morphing takes place within a dogs body

Incidentally many breeds are known by a shortened derivative of their breed name, sorry Joedee but yes Golden Retrievers are commonly referred to as Goldies, even by people who never watched Blue Peter and for you to be so unnecessarily pedantic about it, [ and uppity attitude toward Mishflynn which was uncalled for ], is a bit rich considering your input on the topic at hand

I must find some tweezers to pull my eyelashes out with, it would be soothing by comparison
