I saw far too much in the ER that sometimes it still gives me nightmares even after all these years. And we only saw the whole ones who might have still been breathing. The "bits and pieces" went straight to the morgue.

Yeah, I saw plenty of bikers/cyclists who were the result of losing a head on collision with a vehicle in the operating theatre I worked in. Not pretty! And thanks, I can't wait to ride my first race!
