A couple near me keep Newfies and St Bernards, I sometimes see them out and about and when I'm walking the dogs. Two things that have become apparent...

She reminds me of Roy Hattersley's Buster who was a GSD x staffie. I think there's probably something else in there too though.
Is it just a boy dog thing? In my (admittedly limited) experience male dogs do tend to be needier.
