Yr old GSD is turning on my disabled wife. Don’t know what to do! Questions

Thanks. You are good people! Max was a very lonely and neglected dog and is now a very grateful and good gsd. He thanks you for your support. So do I.

Don, we are always here for you, your wife, and - of course for Max. Never forget that. And never feel bad about having a little moan - I have done more than my fair share of moaning here. Old age can be a booger, especially as the years go so quickly - twelve more days and I think I really will be well over the hill.

Max is your prince. My little horror is convinced she is a princess - but I love her. Mostly!

But I am severely disabled. So What. I looked after my beloved Pereg, she who is the beauty in my avatar, for four years of her nightmare epilepsy. But she was my girl and I loved her.

And I coped with a three-week-old bottle-fed Tikva after I lost Pereg. Why?

Oh Pereg, oh Pereg - I loved you so. And I loved you enough to let you have the peace you so needed.

Tikki? She needed a mommy and she got one in me. Pereg send her to me.

I will say it again. Don we are and will always be, here for you.

I’m glad to hear things are improving somewhat for you.
There is usually someone in this group that you can chat things over with most days.

This German Shepherd, Max, unfortunately, is not a pet. He’s turned himself into a way of life.
