Attempting to ice faces on 40 gingerbread men without a piping bag .. aggggggg....... ....they are not a pretty sight..
Mmm, I love yoghurt. Have you got a yoghurt making machine? The only adventure I'm having this evening is trying to cook dinner with an aching shoulder and two painful hands. This morning Pepe was running past me at top speed and skidded in the mud and knocked me over - I landed on one side and hurt my hands trying to save myself. My next dog will definitely be a tiny chihuahua - no danger of one of those knocking me over. Though, I suppose, it would be easy to trip over one!
May I have a Gingerbread man please Meg? I have got this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Severin-Yoghurt-Maker-White-Grey/dp/B000FMQDW2 I have the 'chef' one too, but it has a timer on it that only goes up to 15 hours - and I need one for 24 hours (as that's meant to be healthier ) I hope your shoulder and hands get better soon, you can always pop down and have some of my lamb casserole that I have got on the hob
...I am afraid they are all spoken for Azz They are intended for the twins 4th birthday party tomorrow. I forgot to buy a new piping bag and had to improvise with a plastic bag.... They do taste nice though...
That sounds tasty - perhaps with one of Meg's gingerbread men for desert. I've just read through the reviews of the yoghurt maker on Amazon, and one person comments that he wouldn't go back to shop bought yoghurt in the same way that someone with a breadmaker wouldn't go back to sliced bread. This is certainly true for me - I bought a breadmaker last year and have never bought bread since. And I never buy tinned soup - I use my wonderful blender, which also makes smoothies!
Yeah - cheating by having found microwavable or quick-cook risottos, some incredibly tasty thick soups, a 13 bean soup mix, an organic vegetable soup mix... plus various other rather nice things... ...well it is only a wee bit of cheating and at least I know exactly what is in everything and they are not take-away dunno wotits. Useful store cupboard stuff though! [Having had a mushroom risotto for a quick supper I am slightly hooked...]
They look yum! I am sure the twins will love them - happy 4th birthday to them! Guess what... I make my own bread too (sourdough) and I eat half a loaf when it comes out the oven They sound nice Malka - I hope they don't have too many chemicals/additives in there tho
No chemicals or additives Azz - these are all organic stuff and every ingredient is listed. All vegan and gluten free as well. Anyhow, they are just for emergency suppers and so far everything I have tried has been yummy and surprisingly inexpensive, so I have re-ordered most of them.
I'm into making pork pies and eccles cakes at present .... had this sudden yearning for all food British! On Sunday made lemon curd, tomorrow if I've time I think I'll make some bread ..... just hope I've got the right flour. They have such a large variety over here and as its all in a foreign lingo I get confused.'cos my Hungarian's not the best!
The problem is that when people start talking about bacon sarnies and pork pies I get mad cravings for them - only I have never eaten them so have no real idea what they actually taste like...
