I said that because the rubbish that was being said about Honeys breeder, but you are also opening up more spaces in rescues for more people like this to off load their pups and it is done. And people who don't care about their pups don't look after them or have sleepless nights as they just don't care if the pups survive or not, they just leave the pups with the dam and then loose no money as when the pups are ready to eat solids they put them in rescues or even before if the pup looks like it is ill, the local rescue has someone like this who is as bold as brass, doesn't care what people think of him, the dogs are just garden dogs, they also have boxes of puppies left outside their gates occainsly to, some of the litters looking very simalar, but if they never took the dogs that the man was bringing in each time, and then offered spaying and neutering it would save a lot, as quite often the pups are in ill health anyway and need to be PTS. Also someone mentioned earlier that they had a rescue pup from 7 weeks, so that has been taken from its litter too early if it was handed in with them, is that not wrong of the rescue? Every dog comes from someone who has puppies, whether they intend to or not, so it does not matter where the pups come from that people choose, the person that I got Honey from was not a typical BYB/puppy mill, you jumped to that conclussion, and started to bad mouth a innocent person, what was the point in this?
i said i got my pup from a rescue at 7 weeks. 7 weeks isnt too early, yeah some people say wait til 8 weeks but when they are over 6 weeks the rescue would probably much prefer to take them then than worry what the person could do with the pups. if the person doesnt care about the pups and is eager to get rid of them, they could have no problem abandoning them or even killing them... and for being away from their litter mates, surely being in a family home, is better than in a rescue centres teeny kennel? they werent far of 8 weeks, so i think getting them in homes was better, plus they had already waited 5 days since getting them that they got put up for rehoming. lauren
