I miss all the threads about wolf alike dogs .. So i would like to see where they stand now??/ Is there a currant name ..lol Have they got the wolf look down yet ? Health issues sorted ? Please post pictures ,,
After seeing the Utanogans(sp) a few weeks back got me thinking ... They were stunning looking dogs but i didnt see wolf ... I saw malamute ...
Yep lovely dogs any time I have met a Ute or an NI I've never thought "wolf" just husky/mal crosses There is a girl from the US on here with two wolf hybrids. Loki and something beginning with S I think? Now they look Wolfy!
Yeah looks like a TM to me! It's clearly bulls***, the look like NI's to me. Two x breeds she has apparently paid a lot of money for! I'm told they are always left out in the garden barking constantly until someone comes out and shouts at them to 'shut the f*** up'. Poor dogs. She had a beautiful GSD previously, it ran out of the house and across the road to play in the park where I was walking Zephyr once and she just left him to it, he was gotten rid of for being too much to handle I think. Of course 2 possible GSD x Husky type pups will be much easier to handle!
I googled it and came up with this (photo taken in Mongolia) tho' I am guessing this is a pic of an actual Mongolian WOLF, not a wolf-dog.
iv worked with a few wolf x dogs and was aable to make a friend at our local game zoo who looked after the 7 wolves.never was able to spend time inside the inclosure but did and still do,sit for hours observing.if there was one thing iv learned,there is no mistaking a true wolf.crosses are beautifull but wolves are in a class all buy them selves,breath taking
