This isn't a thread for discussion just voting. You can check more than one choice so mark all the ones you feel are appropriate. Becky
'Tagging law' - what is meant by this? Do you mean enforcing the law where dogs should have tags displaying owners name & address when in public?
Yes that's right. It's an existing law that would be quite easy to enforce. You just go up and check the dog lol! Becky
Right I can vote now! I agree with enforcing tagging law, compulsory permanent identification (either chip or tattoo, owners choice) and a licence. The fee from the licence would go towards policing it, and the training as suggested below. I didn't vote for test for owners or compulsory training classes, however my feeling is that dog wardens should have the power to give an owner a compulsory training order if they see the need (eg following a complaint), and the owner should then have to pass an assessment following the training - which would focus on the owner's ability with the dog rather than strictly dog obedience.
I've agreed with above really. The tagging is interesting as I remember reading on a previous post on here, regards what to put on a tag So many people posted that hadn't got their address on the dog tag. So perhaps better publicity of what is required at vets etc is required, as posters on here are in effect breaking that law.
can someone explain each option to me? and what it entails ect sorry to be a pain.. thankyou xxxxxxxxxx
